Furnace is operated through step-down transformer to operate silicon carbide rod which are placed vertically on two sides of the Chamber. Step down transformers are provided with selector switches, voltmeter, Ammeters. Furnace is provided with automatic temperature controller with pt/pt-Rh thermocouple.
